How to Use This Guide

  1. Watch 2-3 mock interviews for your target job roles to become familiar with the process
  2. Write answers to common non-technical questions by adding bullet points in a Google Doc.
  3. Start solving 3-5 coding challenges on LeetCode weekly using the suggested approach.
  4. Practice 3-5 technical interview questions for your target job role every day.
    1. If you don't understand a specific term, look it up in a data science glossary
    2. Answer each question out loud. For tricky questions, write answers on paper or in a doc.
    3. Expand the question to reveal the answer (if missing, look up the answer online)
      1. If your answer was incorrect, watch/read a tutorial to improve your understanding.
      2. Maintain a list of questions you weren't able to answer and try again a few days later.
    4. First practice all easy questions, then medium, then hard.
  5. Once you've had enough practice (12-15 days), schedule a mock interview with us.
